Since 2003, Jerry has been Executive Chairman of the Group of North American Insurance Enterprises (GNAIE). Throughout his career, Jerry has served in a variety of executive leadership roles in the insurance industry and has significant transaction experience, particularly in asset management.

Jerry's past experience includes:

  • Senior Vice President of Finance for AIG, independently advising the Audit Committee during the financial crisis (2007-2008)
  • EVP and CFO of XL Capital (2001-2007)
  • Managing Director of Insurance investment banking for JP Morgan and Hudson International (1996-2001)
  • Senior EVP and CFO of The Equitable Companies (1992-1996), and concurrently EVP of AXA responsible for global strategic studies and corporate development (1994-1996); EVP of Corporate Development responsible for mutual-to-stock conversion and IPO (1991); SVP and Treasurer of Equitable Life (1990-1991); CFO of Equitable Investment Management Corporation (1986-1990)
  • CFO of several public corporations (1973-1986)
  • Treasurer's Department Standard Oil Company (now ExxonMobil) (1966-1973)
  • Former director: DLJ; Alliance Capital; XL Capital; FASB, IASB, and AICPA; (others)
  • Jerry has an MA, International Relations, from The Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies and a BA (Mathematics) from North Central College.
