Throughout his career, Jerry De St. Paer has served in a variety of executive leadership roles in the insurance industry – he has significant transaction experience, particularly in asset management. Jerry's past experience includes:
Executive Chairman of the Group of North American Insurance Enterprises (GNAIE) (2007-2012)
Senior Vice President of Finance for AIG, independently advising the Audit Committee during the financial crisis (2007-2008) . He served as EVP and CFO of XL Capital (2001-2007).
Managing Director of Insurance investment banking for JP Morgan and Hudson International (1996-2001)
Senior EVP and CFO of The Equitable Companies (1992- 1996), and concurrently EVP of AXA responsible for global strategic studies and corporate development (1994-1996); EVP of Corporate Development responsible for mutual-to- stock conversion and IPO (1991); SVP and Treasurer of Equitable Life (1990-1991); CFO of Equitable Investment Management Corporation (1986-1990)
CFO of several public corporations (1973-1986)
